With French doors that open onto the terraces and windows that showcase the surrounding woods, the common areas in The Lodge House are perfect places to gather with family and friends or enjoy the company of a colleague in a casual and comfortable setting.
We have furnished these relaxing and comfortable spaces with overstuffed sofas and soft-leather club chairs, beautiful fabrics, antiques and artifacts. There are plenty of areas where groups can gather—plus private corners for intimate discussions.
However your group likes to socialize, The Lodge provides the perfect venue. We believe you’ll find the overall combination of comfort, style, and seclusion to be just right.

It’s glorious here outside. Even in the summer, the shade of the woods makes a stroll relaxing and comfortable. Our secluded pathways let you be alone with your thoughts—or with a loved one. Our gardens and koi pond provide beautiful backdrops for photos and for reflection. Relax in a rocker on our classically Southern porch, or gather around one of our outdoor fireplaces for stories, marshmallow roasts, and great conversation.
If you’re feeling more active, we’ve got you covered. Have a run through our woodlands and open fields. We can also set up lawn games, including croquet, badminton, volleyball, or corn hole. You have plenty of options.

Tucked away in the quiet, charming town of Maryville, RT Lodge is a true retreat, overflowing with the natural beauty of the foothills of Eastern Tennessee. As soon as you step foot onto our property, your shoulders will seem to relax a bit, and you can finally take in a long, slow breath of fresh mountain air.
You’ll be staying with us in one of two beautiful guest lodges - Walker or Wiley. Named after the magnificent Susan Wiley Walker, who built the Main Lodge as her private residence in 1932, these buildings reflect the style of the original home, and its authentic, elegant lodge charm.
